Annual Budget

The Town of West Point has completed the annual budget process for fiscal year 2024-2025. The adopted budget covers July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. The budget process began on December 1, 2023 with letters sent to each department head – Building Department, Community Development, Economic Development, Fire Department, Human Resources, Police Department, Public Works, Town Manager & Treasurer – along with letters to Outside Organizations to announce the new budget season and to ask for all budget requests to be submitted by January 8, 2024. Once all requests were received and compiled, the Town Manager and Treasurer discussed how to balance the budget. The budget was presented to Town Council on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, followed by a Budget Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The final budget was adopted by Town Council during the regular meeting on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
